How does counting down the final minutes of Eddie's life affect you as a reader? Why does Albom do this? Give examples from the text.

  1. The counting down of the final minutes of Eddie's life affects me as a reader because it shows the end of a beginning. Also, it affects me because it shows how the book got started. I think that the author did this because the rest of the book is all about the beginning of the book.
