EQ question from the Boss

My essential question is what is the greatest beef cattle breed? I came up with this question from growing up in the cattle industry. Growing up in the beef industry has led me to see many opinions and different kinds of cattle. After seeing and experiencing this I have developed my own opinions about what I think is best. I plan to answer the question with Gelbvieh is the greatest cattle breed. My good friend Caleb and his family manage an Angus operation, so there is always plenty of discussion and arguments over which breed is better. I receive the Gelbvieh world magazine every month so finding three articles that promotes Gelbvieh will not be hard to come by. One of the more interesting issues is the one with the Gelbvieh association coming with a new DNA classifying system to help ranchers with parent verification because sometimes when you A.I. and then put them with clean up bulls and they calve where it could be the A.I. sire or the pasture sire it will help greatly improve incorrect sires on registration papers. Also when I joined the Gelbvieh association they sent me a flood of stuff and in that was a sheet that broke it down in mathematical terms of how a Gelbvieh cow is a better cow in terms of weaning weights, feed efficiency, and calving ease. In the article it compared the Gelbvieh to a wide range of cattle from Maine Anjou to Angus. The poems will probably come from the great cowboy poet Baxter Black; for he is an ex large animal vet so he knows what he is talking about when he talks about cattle and has wrote many a poem about cattle and it appears that through that he enjoys the continental breeds the best and Gelbvieh falls into that catagory. This is my essential question and this is how I intend to answer it.
